Darren Styles – Paradise & Dreams [With Ultrabeat]

July 28, 2008

The rain falls down but the sun still shines
And as you smile you start to cry
So I wipe the tears from your eyes

I painted pictures in my mind
Of the paradise I long to find
But will it make anything alright

If I’m not wrong then I must be right
Just as day must follow night
I climb the mountain to your heart
I long to hold you from the start

The rain falls down but the sun still shines
As you smile you start to cry
so I wipe the teardrops from your eyes

If I’m not wrong then I must be right
Just as day must follow night
I climb the mountain to your heart
I long to hold you from the start

The rain falls down but the sun still shines
As you smile you start to cry
so I wipe the teardrops from your eyes

I see the blue skies turn to grey
Just hope our lives don’t do the same
And we shine on through those cloudy days

Hold the future deep inside
To live the dreams lost in our minds
But will it make anything alright

Alright
Alright
Alright

If I’m not wrong then I must be right
Just as day must follow night
I climb the mountain to your heart
I long to hold you from the start

The rain falls down but the sun still shines
As you smile you start to cry
so I wipe the teardrops from your eyes

If I’m not wrong then I must be right
Just as day must follow night
I climb the mountain to your heart
I long to hold you from the start

The rain falls down but the sun still shines
As you smile you start to cry
so I wipe the teardrops from your eyes

I’ve become a big fan of this song recently. I first heard it in “Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 4 CD 1 Mixed by Darren Styles” as a UK Hardcore song. I thought it was absolutely beautiful and it made me want to sing along with it. After doing some research, I’ve found out more about its origins and how it can be found on Darren Styles’ album, “Skydivin’.”

The hardcore version is personally my favorite, but I’m a UK Hardcore guy. Embedded below, and as usual, if that doesn’t work, use this external youtube link.

The original version found on Darren Styles’ full-length album is slower paced, but still good to the ears. Embed below, or youtube link.

Again, much thanks to everybody’s favorite online encyclopedia, Wikipedia, for information about this musical piece.

Fun facts about this song:

  • It was originally composed in the 90s by Force and Styles
  • A hardcore and duet remix were produced of this song by Force and Styles
  • I guess Force and Styles broke up, because Paul Force produced his own version of this song
  • Most recently, Darren Styles of the former Force and Styles produced these two versions of this song
  • Force and Styles was the name of a pair consisting of Paul Force and Darren Styles (why is this a fun fact? BECAUSE I NEVER MADE THE CONNECTION UNTIL NOW, OH WOW LOL)

More about this song can be found on its own Wikipedia entry, Paradise & Dreams.
